‘Sing Street’ Review: An Underrated Exploration of Youth

sing_street

Set in Dublin during the 80s, this movie captures the decade really well, especially with its original music. The script and dialogue are very honest and seamlessly flow from one scene to the next.

The timing of the mood put in each scene represents well what it wants to accentuate. Every character, brought to life with superb performance, is written with much consideration and each has something to bring to the table, adding more emotion and multi-dimensional perspectives to the movie.

Sing Street celebrates what it means to be young – self-exploration, finding your passion, and living in the moment.
